La forme de cette bouteille à huile associe celle d’un entonnoir renversé et d’un cylindre. Ce fut anciennement un briquet de table auquel on ajoutait une mèche.

Clin d’oeil à Giorgio Morandi qui, par la peinture, crée une mise en scène de natures mortes sans cesse renouvelées tout en demeurant dans le contexte de l’atelier. Ce dernier recrée en permanence les objets dont il s’entoure en les repeignant à l’intérieur, à l’extérieur sans jamais vraiment changer de sujet. Seules les compositions sont repensées.

A nod to Giorgio Morandi who, through painting, creates a staging of still lifes that are constantly renewed while remaining within the context of the workshop. He constantly recreates the objects he surrounds himself with by repainting them inside and outside without ever really changing the subject. Only the compositions are rethought.
